Chili Cheese (Jicama) Fries

I wanted to see if I could make HEALTHY chili cheese fries, and YEP! Here they are!

Chili Cheese (Jicama) Fries
(Extra lean & green info included for those who are following our health program too!)

Chili
:
4 oz Ground deer or 98% lean turkey* (1/2 lean)
1/8 cup Diced tomatoes (1/4 green)
1/8 cup Tomato sauce (1/2 green)
1/8 cup Green peppers (1/4 green)
1/8 cup Water
5/8 tsp Chili powder (1-1/4 condiment)
1/16 tsp Salt (1/4 condiment)
1/4 tsp Cumin (1/4 condiment)
1/16 tsp Garlic powder (1/8 condiment)
1/16 tsp Black pepper (1/8 condiment)
Slowly simmer in a pan until thick. (I just microwaved it.)

Fries:
1 cup Jicama fries (2 greens)
1/4 tsp Onion powder (1/2 condiment)
1/8 tsp Salt (1/2 condiment)
1 tsp Olive oil* (1 healthy fat)
Bake for 30 min at 400° in a single layer, turning them over once.

Cheese:
1/2 cup Moderate fat (3-6g) cheese (1/2 lean)
Pour chili over the fries, then top with cheese.
This makes one complete lean & green meal with 1 lean, 3 greens, 3 condiments, and 1 healthy fat.
*If you use beef, no healthy fat is required. You could use 3/4 cup low fat cheese (1-2g), then you would need 1/2 healthy fat (1/2 tsp olive oil).
This was a great, healthy alternative to chili cheese fries and it hit the spot!
