My kids are already out of...I agree with you 100%. My kids are already out of school and families of their own but most of the children of today, like mine did spend too much time in their room, on the phone, or playing video games. The advantage of meeting NEW people and seeing NEW places in today's world is so important. At age 59 I made my first trip out of this country and boy did it open my eyes to what I had missed. My stepdaughters spent time during teen years in several countries of Europe and South America and they have a much better understanding of today's world than my children.
