On the Columbia River

We found a great campground near Wenatchee, WA on the beautiful Columbia River, surrounded by rocky cliffs.  Well, it was great until we couldn't get any wifi or cell service.  We have some work and research to do and not being connected to the world, while quite nice for my book reading, wasn't helpful.
So we pulled out after a few days, with no next campground reserved (because of said lack of wifi!).  Oddly, we happened to leave during the perfect storm of sunset/wildfire/thunderstorm.  It was eerily pretty!  The entire canyon filled with smoke, pushed by the storm, so it was a good time to be gone.
