Blue Man Group, Three Broomsticks, Weasley's, Universal

Part of our Christmas present this year was tickets to see the Blue Man Group, dinner at Three Broomsticks, gifts at Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes, and ice cream at Florean Fortescue's. What a fun day!!! Three Broomsticks wasn't very busy, so we got to linger and explore.

Weasley's shop is always a hoot!

Yummy butterbeer ice cream.

This show was incredible! Very cool and amusing too.

We got to sit in the spash zone!

Orlando campground

We usually end up at the Orlando Thousand Trails campground, because it's close to the Grands, Universal, Disney, and most of our friends stay there. But it also has a beautiful lake where we can see the Disney fireworks too. And always great sunsets.

Josh's graduation!

Josh worked hard to graduate early, so he could head to the Marines early. He found out he could enlist at 17 if he had graduated high school. So he put together a plan and graduated at 16. We were really proud of him! As a graduation present, he got a G-Shock watch, which he really loved.

Peace River fun & friends

Allen loves the fishing in the Peace River and he stocks our freezer full!

We also love First Christian Church, especially the kids. All three went to Reverb this year and made some great friends.
And we love spending time with other families in the campground, which sometimes turns into a jam session.

Ms Judy is one of everyone's favorites down at Peace River!

Universal with friends!

We always have fun at Universal, but it's even more fun with friends! The Kinneys are always a blast and we had some great times there this year.

Cousins!

We were very excited to see our cousins (my cousin Michael Young & family, on the Hamel side) from Alaska as they came for a weekend in Orlando. They flew his mom, my aunt, Bridget Hamel down from Ohio, so my dad got to visit with his sister too. Plus all the kids got to meet cousins they haven't met yet! It was funny to see how alike they were.
Almost got a serious one.
Cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Cousins, second cousins, or first cousins once removed, and third cousins, or twice removed... we tried for hours to figure it out and finally did, but I'm not sure we got it right. :)  Here's a chart if you're keeping track at home. :)
Let's try L to R. Matt, Lizzy, Michael, Caleb, Tamara, Kira, Bridget, Seth, Kathy, Josh, Chuck, Margie, Allen.
Cousins. At least that one was easy. :)
We think this is the last time all the cousins were together. 2000! We were babies. :)
It was so great to catch up with some and meet others for the first time! Hopefull…

Happy birthday Lizzy!

For Lizzy's 17th birthday, we had cake, of course.
We also had a fun game of softball with some other families in the campground. Great day!
