The post where you meet Fred

Meet Fred.  Matt brought Fred home as a gift from the neighbors. He missed their chickens, a lot, and crowed, a lot.  But he settled in quickly and the little chicks sure loved cuddling up to him at night.

You can read Jack's eyes to know what he thinks of all these chickens allowed to run around uneaten!

He was very unsure (and afraid) of Fred.

Allen and Josh worked on the lean to on the back. This will be a chicken coop on the left and a goat pen on the right.

Since we borrowed a few ladders from the neighbors, Lizzy was forced happy to clean the windows, which hadn't been cleaned since ever.

Josh was "manning the fire" by playing Jack to sleep.  Check out the butterfly that was playing in the smoke!
