We really enjoyed exploring Estes Park. It's touristy, but very geared toward the outdoors with great shops and cool places to gather along the river. The kids could walk downtown to hang out and they had a blast.
Of course the Igels' taffy shop was our favorite!
The Stanley Hotel (where Dumb and Dumber filmed, and where Stephen King was inspired to write The Shining!)
Cool walkway tunnels with local art.
Lots of outdoor spaces to spend time.
Of course our favorite time was spent with friends. I loved seeing all the kids having so much fun together and it was so great to catch up with Mark and Kelly.
We were really sad to leave! But we're so grateful to the Igels for all their time and hospitality!
