Trick or Treat (for all!)

We headed down to Asheville, NC and looked around for a town where we could all go trick-or-treating! Halloween is a fun holiday for us (with Allen's birthday and all 3 kids' adoption days). So we were happy to see that nearby Hendersonville had a town-wide celebration and all ages were welcome. We all dressed up and had a great time! The whole town got into it and it was really fun. It ended late with a street dance! The birthday boy chose a pumpkin roll instead of the traditional cake.

Ohio climbing with Casey

We wanted to visit with Casey Reed and we knew she'd be up for an adventure, so we went climbing again at John Bryan. She did great! Love the sports fans in Ohio!

Park City, Utah

The Johnsons drove us to the airport, and since we're all adventurers, we decided to explore Park City first. It's a very cool town and we checked out some Olympic sites too. We'll miss these mountains!  Jack was SO happy to see Allen after a week.  He looked at me like he dared me to separate them ever again. :)

Sundance, Utah

We had an amazing and challenging leadership retreat at the gorgeous Sundance Resort in Utah. We stayed in a really fun, quirky log cabin with the Johnsons. We had a wonderful time soaking up all the training and being around so many amazing leaders, all with this beautiful Fall backdrop. What a team!  The resort was decked out for Halloween and this scary guy on the mountain was really cool!  Our cabin was fascinating and adorable!  Ryan stayed with the kids and they went to a super scary haunted house and had a blast!
