The Lundy 5

Fulltime Families rallies are so fun! When we decided to go west, we were happy to be able to go to the rally in Montrose, CO. And it was a superhero theme, so even better! But any chance to hang out with like-minded crazy people is awesome! Other families who live outside the box (but ironically inside a box) and other kids who also roadschool and are used to making friends on the fly... good times! Lizzy went with Harley Quinn.  Allen and I were super. :)  There was so much for the kids to do.  And the adults had a lot of fun too!  The views from our campground in Montrose. 

We checked out Ouray CO and explored Box Canyon Falls with the Gebbia family .  We love running into them and they're always up for an adventure! Then we went on to Silverton, CO on a crazy, but beautiful, winding road through the mountains. Most of the town had dirt roads.  This bridge/tunnel deal let a waterfall go over the road.  Much of the road was a drop off on one side.  So many waterfalls to check out.  Which our family can't do from afar. 

We took a gorgeous drive down to explore Telluride, Colorado. It's a gorgeous ski town that is even beautiful in the summer, surrounded by the Rockies still sporting snow in June. Because of the slopes, you take their free gondolas from place to place. They were quite fun as we dove down into the canyon. We hiked all the way to *that* waterfall.  Then explored the town more. Seems all Colorado towns have climbing rocks for fun.  The town was very cute! So pretty tucked in there.
