All of you homeschooling readers (especially my fellow roadschooling readers) have to notice the lack of fiction books about homeschooling. So many kids' books out there center around school, making it harder for our kids to relate to the characters. Not to mention the lack of respectful families and positive attitudes (oops, I just mentioned).

The kids and I loved Wright on Time: Arizona, by Lisa M. Cottrell-Bentley. (We bought the Kindle version.) It's about a family traveling the country in an RV (yes, perfect for us!) And just like our life, the characters in the books are learning so much as they go. Even better, my kids learned from them with definitions and science lessons integrated seamlessly into the story. Plus it was just darn interesting as they explored a cave and found a mystery. Utah is next (and where we're heading soon). All 50 states are in the works and we can't wait to read the rest!
