Jamestown

Next we visited Jamestown. The kids' favorite part was the glass factory, where they were making glass like they did back in the colonial times. It was amazing! We also saw original buildings from the Jamestown fort and learned about the Algonquin Indians who supplied the settlers with food. They did the Junior Ranger program also.
And in case you're wondering, yes, it's excruciatingly painful not to have my lens for my good camera in this part of the country!! Cell phone pics just aren't the same!
