Josh is now a cadet in the Civil Air Patrol, US Air Force Auxiliary. We will try to join in with squadrons across the country as we travel, and he'll be able to do some of his testing online too. CAP focuses on aerospace education, cadet programs, and emergency services. He hopes to take some orientation flights in planes and helicopters and participate in encampments and training events. There are so many squadrons and opportunities. (Plus, he's just so darn cute in his uniforms!)
If he completes the program and reaches a certain rank, he can enter any branch of the military at an advanced grade. (Learn more here.)
