After being in, but not seeing, the Grand Staircase, we finally saw it...
after we left! When we drove two hours south to the Grand Canyon, we
looked back and WOW! Okay, THERE it was. It's ginormous! It takes up the
bottom half of the state. No wonder we couldn't see it while we were
there. We could only see one step at a time, because each is an entire
mountain range!
There's a great overlook on the road south and we stopped with the Johnsons to admire it.
It was hard to get our whole crew and the staircase in. Imagine taking a pic of 11 people and half a state. :)
